We are seeking candidates that are either immediate or on a short notice period only.

Contract duration: 12 month - Possible for extension

Based – Bangsar South KL -  WFH 60/40

Responsibilities

As Data Deployment Lead, you will work within the Quantum deployment squads to ensure site MM (Materials Management) data is accurately prepared, cleansed, and ready for migration into the new ERP solution. You will partner closely with site system owners, data specialists, and central data teams to extract required datasets, analyze data quality, and drive site‑level cleansing activities in line with Quantum data standards.

Beyond day‑to‑day deployment activities, you will contribute insights and recurring data quality issues back to the central design and data governance teams to inform improvements for future releases.

Key Deliverables / Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Realize Phase (Build) of the Quantum program to understand the end‑to‑end data model for MM— EWM Product Master, Storage Bin and sorting, EWM Fixed Bin Assignment and WH stock and related MM data objects—ensuring clarity on how site data must align to the new template.

  • Work with the Senior Program Delivery Manager and site data/system teams to understand current-state MM data sources, data structures, legacy system behavior, and variations in data across the site.

  • Lead site‑level data impact and readiness assessments, focusing on how legacy data must transform to meet Quantum data standards; identify deviations or regulatory/fiscal constraints and provide structured feedback to central data and design squads where adjustments may be required.

  • Lead MM data extraction, analysis, cleansing, and transformation activities, including data validation, preparation and assessment, and mapping data into final load‑ready formats for the central data team.  Drive alignment across the technical conversion team, workstream, and business data owners to support Data Conversion (DC) cycles, ensuring data readiness, quality, and timely delivery for each conversion cycle and load.

  • Collaborate with the Change Management and Testing Teams to support Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring site procurement data is prepared, representative, and of sufficient quality for scenario execution.

  • Provide Early Life Support (ELS) on MM data‑related topics during go‑live, including data issues, missing or mismatched data scenarios, data queries, and data‑driven process blockers.

  • Work with site Materials Management and Procurement teams and central MM and Procurement Data & MDG teams to embed standard data structures, definitions, and governance practices, ensuring sustainable data quality and alignment with Quantum’s long‑term data standards.

Tools and Technology Proficiency:

  • SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA
  • MS Excel, Access
  • MS PowerPoint
  • Azure DevOps (nice to have)
  • Other MS Suite products including Outlook and Teams

Qualifications

Qualifications and required experience:

  • Proven experience in supporting/leading SAP ECC / S/4HANA deployment initiatives, specializing in materials management data readiness and transformation in the MM / procurement / supply chain domain.
  • Experience handling multiple projects concurrently and working with complex cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in risk management and governance.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills; ability to influence and negotiate.
